Project Summary

Enviva is one of the largest US manufacturers of processed biomass fuel in the form of 100% wood pellets, with an annual production capacity of approximately 1.6 million metrics tons. T.A. Loving was contracted to provide all labor, equipment and materials necessary to place concrete foundations for the conveyor supports and concrete pads at the new port loading facility in Wilmington, NC. The overall project was designed to accommodate three 500,000 metric tons/year manufacturing plants delivering by rail and one 500,000 metric tons/year manufacturing plant by truck. Thus it was necessary for the Port facility to accommodate two million metric tons/year throughput.
