Project Summary

T. A. Loving Company lead the Design-Build team for the construction of the 92,000 sq. ft. Close-King Indoor Practice Facility for North Carolina State University. The facility, designed by CRA Associates, includes a full-length football field, a running track, training room, coaches’ observation area and lobby space.  The state-of-the-art facility, constructed adjacent to Carter-Finley Stadium, serves football, track and field, and other field sports.

Amenities include a full 120-yard football field with roof height for kicking games and suspended goal posts; additional training and conditions space beyond both end zones; four full-length sprint lanes; in-ground and above-ground pads for long jump, triple jump and other track events; end zone and 50-yardline viewing platforms.
